Yes, Makeup is a type of art in my opinion. Almost every day it takes me about 30 minutes to an hour and a half just to do my makeup. The first step to my makeup routine is to prime my face. After that, I have to find my foundation shade that matches my skin tone. I use eyeshadow palettes, bronzer, highlight, lip stick and eyebrow product. And how do I apply my makeup on? I use brushes to do so. I need to blend out my eyeshadow and bronzer so it won’t look patchy. Makeup has become a trend these past few years. Everyone is accepted and everyone creates their own type of art work by using makeup. People use their face as a canvas to create artwork. They are able to create a career from it. Many people create a YouTube channel and create makeup tutorials and others are known as makeup artist and they help other people make them feel more beautiful. I searched up the definition of art and what came up was “ Works produced by human creative skill and imagination.”, which is exactly what an artist does. An artist creates artwork. Do you believe that makeup is a type of art?
